The GoRun Ride was Skechers first max cushion shoe. Round number 7 has taking the concept to a new level, without forgetting where it came from. The upper features a new knit construction and minimal synthetic leather overlays at the eyestay and in the heel.
with a bit of stretch that does a good job of securing the foot, though the heel counter is substantial enough to support the rearfoot. The midsole is the latest version of foam for the series, which Skechers calls FlightGen, that is nestled into an EVA shell, and provides that smooth, cushy ride that fans of the series are familiar with. The outersole is kept to a minimum, toughened foam over close to 40%, no more than adequate to handle the rigors of high mileage. If a cushy ride, high mileage, and very attractive price are what you are looking for in a recovery shoe, give the GoRun Ride 7 serious consideration.
Testers: “Really cushy feel, but with some bounce, not squishy. Great for recovery and for long runs. Fit well with room in the toes. Nice addition for my rotation”
