The Hierro is the four-wheel drive of the New Balance trail running line. This update maintains the Hierro reputation of protective trail taming, while utilizing recycled materials to reduce its environmental footprint. The upper uses TPU infused materials in its woven fabric, recycled foam in the comfy ankle collar and tongue, and recycled materials for supportive heel counter. The midsole maintains the contoured Fresh Foam, with its firm, responsive feel. The outersole is full-length Vibram® rubber known for its many strengths, and the stabilizing heel fin ensuring successful landings. The result is a durable, stable and responsive trail cruiser, though Hierro devotees already know that.
Testers: “Solid ride and excellent trail traction. Consistent fit with protection for the toes. Well built, versatile and dependable.”
