The Apollo was one of my early catalog acquisitions, and it held up well during the track season. I set new PBs in all three of the distances and ran relays and many laps of intervals in the shoe. Perhaps the best milestone was an actual mile and a sub 5 to boot, at 4:57. The durability was great, and the adidas fit became my favorite in most every track season. I often envied runners in other states which were able to run indoors, and also use their spike during the cross country season. Though, of course, that was not the case in California, with a no spikes for XC rule and our mild climate made indoor options extremely sparse.
