Skechers has established a reputation for its running shoe line over nearly a decade. The GoRun franchise has made remarkable progress with continual upgrades in materials, design, and processes. The GoRun Ride 7+ is a versatile shoe which comfortably straddles the performance and daily trainer boundary. In short, the weight and profile say performance, while the durability of the components says daily trainer. The upper is a closed knit mesh with a bit of stretch, that breathes well and holds the foot effectively. The midsole is Hyperburst foam with its proven long lasting cushioning. The outersole is carbon rubber, only on the pods, saving weight while providing excellent grip. The Ride 7+ is the best in the series with no real downside, and plenty of performance.
Comfortable with a hardly there feel, light on the foot, with an accommodating stretch to it. The cushioning is durable, while keeping the weight down. I love ‘em.
