There may be something familiar about the adidas a3. That familiarity is a similar theme. The a3 technology utilizes an angled polymer plate, like a sideways letter “A,” which assists in transition from the heel touchdown to the toe-off. The plate is supported by PU lugs positioned to return it to its original position. How does it feel… well, the ride works well, blending with the cushioning of the full forefoot adiPRENE+ perhaps affected by the raised heel moving the foot toward the front of the shoe. Overall it delivers high mileage comfort and protection.
