Apparently the 2001 Response needed to make a statement for the millennium. Visually the shoe is dramatically different from its predecessors. Functionally it is cloned from the identical pool. Response wearers have looked for two things from the shoe, cuahioning and value, which are the two elements which have been retained. If the Response has been your shoe in the past, ask for it, because you are not likely to recognize it.
