The Experience Wild is the trail version of the 4 millimeter Experience shoes, and it shares much with the other Experience shoes – same drop, same stack, and same fit. Its Wild side is the trail orientation of the shoe. The upper is a closed mesh with welded overlays at the toes and the lace throat. Gaiter ready, with a ring at the lace throat and velcro tab at the heel. The midsole nearly mirrors its sibling the Experience Flow; single density foam, 4 millimeter drop, 28/32 millimeter stack height, and the EVA Strobel board and polyurethane insole of the three shoes makes the feel very much the same. The outersole is rows of tough trail tread interspersed with longitudinal flex grooves to adapt to uneven ground. The flexibility, generous stack, and durable upper combine for an effective trail tamer, whether on groomed or less defined routes.
Testers: “Protective, tough, and good looking. I think I just found my new trail shoe…”
