The upper features a durable ripstop textile with a laser cut saddle and eyestay, mesh tongue, a laminated textured synthetic rubber toe bumper and rearfoot overlays. A gaiter ring and velcro trapper offer additional adaptability to accommodate gaiters for the really brushy trails. Adding to the performance is its rPET composition – fully recycled PET, that plastic used for soda bottles – here in a completely “new” life. The midsole is a zero drop, 25 mm stack of Altra Ego, the special blend providing the expected Altra ride. The outersole continues with opposing low profile lugs to maximize traction, whether gripping or braking.
