Mount Olympus was the home of the gods in Greek Mythology. The Olympus continues to tower above the Altra Trail line, though not in name only. Version 6 takes most of its cues from version 5, with the same midsole stack (and zero drop), construction (EVA strobel, insole, and midsole), and luggy Vibram® outersole and toughened EVA lugs in the midfoot. The upper features vented perforations across the vamp and toes, not as open as its predecessor, though a bit more protective, while maintaining its versatilty and performance. A new rand covers the big toe and wraps laterally around the toes to the arch, surrounding most of the foot with a protective rubbery layer at the base of the upper. Gaiter ready with a ring at the eyestay and Velcro® keeper at the heel to assist the protection of the gaiter. The midsole moulding is changed while offering the same cushioning, stack, and flexion. The Olympus line continues to offer the protecion and performance of the franchise.
