This is the first round of the Nimbus to incorporate the new and very effective Solyte compound in the mid-sole. Minor reworking of the upper offers a smidgen more support through the saddle and complements the proven BioMorphic Fit inserts, providing both a close, supportive fit and room to move as needed. The ride is not noticeably changed; it’s still “pillowy,” as one tester noted. The women’s version features a gender-specific last and heel geometry to address their unique physical stresses caused by the wider angle between the hips and the knees. Testers found much to agree on about the Nimbus and can be summed up by one tester’s comments: “Fit well, no problems at all. My overall impression is that anyone running long training miles will be very satisfied with this shoe.”
