In a current world of tall stack shoes, the Hyperion Max pauses for a color up, and refreshes the “just enough” midsole of the orginal Hyperion Max. As previously reviewed:
…a versatile addition that manages daily training, recovery, and even some uptempo running, as well as long miles. The upper is a next generation textile which sheds water, thanks to its tight weave, but also has a comfortable stretch making for an adaptable solution. The tall-ish stack offers a cushy ride (sure, at 34mm it’s not as plush as the 40+mm stacks), the supercritical DNA Flash foam delivering protection and responsiveness simultaneously. The outersole is dense carbon rubber, spaced over the sole selectively to save weight, without compromising durability. Overall, the Hyperion Max is a light, protective, and durable shoe for many miles in your regular rotation.
“Comfortable fit, cushioned and springy ride, nice rolling transition. Still ticks the boxes for me.”
Updates the Hyperion Max colorway.
