The Ground Control midsole, introduced in the Flow Veloce last season, is now incorporated into other Fila offerings, including the new Flow Redemption. With its open forefoot design that provides plenty of toeroom, the Redemption looks and responds in a unique, but effective, manner. The Flow cradle combines with lateral and medial overlays to secure the heel into the shoe. Cushioning is excellent for a lightweight shoe, and good flexibility in the forefoot provides a responsive and bouncy ride. Our weartesters liked the Redemption, concluding: “Cushioning is more than adequate, for intervals or long runs” and “I thought they would be too wide, but they seemed to form to my foot; very comfortable.”
