The Speedgoat 6 is the latest version of what has become a complete trail solution. Available in a mid-high top, Goretex, and standard versions, there are viable options to match the needs of your trail adventures. The upper is a closed mesh with laminated overlays at heel and toe, an effectively ventilated upper, designed to keep the slop out while breathing well. The gusseted tongue stays in place, while offering a stretchy material which holds its shape without overly restricting the foot. The protective midsole features a measured 30mm stack, with a 5mm drop, supportive and light for your off-road adventures. The outersole is a toothy but low profile setup, crescent shaped lugs arranged to manage the ascents and descent with equal effectiveness. A men’s 12 in the standard model is 9.6 ounces, pretty light – especially when you consider the protection and versatility of the shoe.
Testers: “Love the Speedgoat! Trails are better in the shoe because it is light enough for trail races, rugged enough for dirt, mud, and some rocky stuff, and it fits great!”
