What do you get when you cross a trail runner with a stylish casual shoe? The answer is a good-looking running shoe. Enter the Transport, a Hoka shoe for everyday. Oh, believe that we’ve had everyday Hokas in the past, but this is meant to be an everyday Hoka, and one that has a fashionable appeal. The upper is a uniform closed mesh of Cordura® nylon, with good support as well as good looks, welded overlays provide support, and a smooth lining adds to the comfort of the Transport. You have an option for your lacing preference, either a stretchy lace with with a slide keeper to tighten the shoe, or a durable traditional matching lace to go with the color scheme. The midsole is well cushioned and durable enough, but is framed for aesthetics, which makes the Transport kind of a best of both worlds. The outersole is Vibram, need we say more? Well yes, it’s either black or gum rubber Vibram, depending on the upper color scheme, so it is durable, non-marking, and looks great doing it. The bottom line is wear the Transport for fashion, but don’t be afraid to run in them.
