The Fulcrum Racer is a new shoe to Karhu’s storied line. The upper features mesh in the vamp and midfoot, with sueded synthetic overlays at the heel counter, midfoot, and toe cap, providing the upper with a little structure, while keeping the shoe lighter than with natural materials. The midsole is compression molded EVA foam, contoured for a little durability as well as structure to resist excess compression. The midsole also features a stiff synthetic plate with a carbo fiber matrix adding stiffness while flexing with the foot through the gait.
