Karhu has always had an exotic reputation in the American market, thanks to their limited availability and a unique approach to design and componentry. The M10 was introduced as a lightweight performance shoe, although its weight places it more appropriately in the Neutral category. The midsole has a low-slung look and a firm feel, but it’s quite responsive with good cushioning. The upper is snug, but the high-quality mesh affords a reasonable amount of give while still supporting the foot. The outersole, full carbon rubber in both the forefoot and heel, is thin but durable, and the shank is well supported by the TPU bridge in the midfoot.
Testers: “I didn’t like these at first but now that I have 100+ miles on them, I like them 100% better than [I did on my] initial runs. Smooth ride, comfortable fit with firm cushioning. This is a type of shoe that doesn’t feel great right out of the box but the more you run in it, the more you like it.”
