The Mestari has been a longstanding core motto to the Karhu line, epitomized by the “M” featured on Karhu shoes since the 1950’s, and the name which translates as Champion, or Master. The Mestari Run 2.0 launches some new features along with the stabilizing Fulcrum shank for stability. The midsole is supercritical foam, with the bouncy cushioning which is simultaneously protective and dynamic. The low profile outersole is tough and provides durable traction with a grippy texture. The shank, is Karhu’s Fulcrum design, which rockers the shoe forward to harness torsion into an aligned stride. The upper is breathable, with a smooth interior and plenty of lacing options to adjust to a variety of needs.
Testers: Very impressed, the shoes are cushy, stable, and breathe well. They are the core of a great shoe rotation, getting me ready for a spring marathon.
