Mizuno has succeeded with their Wave technology in racing shoes back to the Wave Goodbye, more than 5 seasons back. The Idaten is the first to utilize the Alpha Polymer foam, which is very durable and responsive, but firm. The trade-off for bouncy cushioning makes it better suited to the efficient racer looking for a snug fitting durable shoe with a smooth transition.
