Mizuno has quietly nudged the needle forward with their Performance Running products. The result is a new midsole foam called Enerzy, which joins other polyamide based foams across the industry. The Wave Rebellion is new to the Mizuno line, an uptempo shoe with a protective and lively feel. The upper has Mizuno’s tried and tested, low profile design of closed mesh with a touch of stretch, to move with the foot without moving too much. The Enerzy Lite midsole foam is springy, protective and almost unbelievably light for its durability, and of course Mizuno’s Wave plate adds its stabilizing and foam enhancing effect. The outersole is G3, the grippy TPU and foam setup introduced in the Waverider, and utilized across their top end performance products because of its durability and effectiveness.
