The Lerato is a new shoe to the New Balance line which combines their latest technologies for a deluxe daily running experience. The upper is a closed mesh – tough, breathable, and supportive, with the expected New Balance fit. The midsole features the magic – a carbon fiber plate surrounded by a two layer foam sandwhich offering great cushioning with a springy snap to it. The sum is a shoe which provides the rolling effect of a plated shoe with the protection of a deluxe, everyday trainer. The benefit is in training the body to adjust to the high performance effect without the wear and tear, while utilizing a durable platform for at least some of your longest training runs.
Testers: Plush, but with a fast feel. Like putting a Ferrari engine in a station wagon, and it works.
