Nike Durham

The Durham may be the most fitting tribute of the new Bowerman series of shoes. The straight last, saddle upper construction, and motion control features would likely have fit coach Bowerman to a “T.” If you have a “flattish” foot you have something in common with one of the most outstanding University and Olympic track coaches in history. If your foot rolls inward at a rakish angle, the Durham is built to prevent the injuries which can result from too little control. The polyurethane midsole is a cushiony composition to provide durable bounce, while not as firm as recent polyurethane midsoles from the brand. The Durham is worth a thorough examination, and may be what the doctor ordered.
