Special projects seem to abound at Nike. The product of the wild imaginings of the designers and developers are several ‘unique’ projects. The Presto is such a product: available in 13 different color combinations, it seems to be aimed at the high school team market, but may be better suited to the competitive runner looking for a wild racing shoe. It is light, and it does offer good cushioning and a unique, stretchy upper with a thermoplastic cage for mid-foot support. The shoe comes in only 6 sizes and because they aren’t correlated to specific sizes you’ll need to pribably try on a couple of the sizes and give them a try before deciding the one that’s right for you. If it sounds like something you are looking for, give it a try, and at the very least, keep an eye out for them.
