The Vomaro is the latest of the Nike shoes to join the Shield line, shoes equipped for winter weather and lack of sunlight. The upper takes on the Shield attributes, with not only 360 degree reflectivity, but on more than half of the upper. The use of a cheetah-like pattern makes the reflectivity more dynamic, great news if you must be seen in wintry, dark and stormy conditions, where your fortitude is tested and you’ll be seen to make it home for another run on another day. The midsole is Cushlon foam, with flex grooves managing the foot’s motion, the protective midsole setup you’ve come to ecpect from the Vomaro line. The outersole is the typical Nike setup, carbon rubber in the rear and a combination of carbon and expanded rubber up front for traction, cushiness and protection from the road.
