Tiger featured several iterations of track spikes which filtered into the the footwear ecosystem of the 1970’s. Built on the same last, but in a variety of iterations, some in sueded leather, others in a rainbow of colors of nylon (I recall at least red, blue, white, and maybe even a yellow or green) tossed in for good measure. My personal collection – besides Onitsuka, included: Puma, adidas, Nike, Lydiard/Brütting, and Karhu.
