Puma Forever Run Nitro

Puma has been in the shoe business, via their founder Rudolf Dassler, since 1919, and for the past 75 years under their current moniker. With that history, the latest crop of excellent shoes should come as no surprise. Enter the ForeverRun Nitro, a continuation of the efforts achieved by their pinnacle models, the Deviate and the Fast-R, here evolved to a stable, high mileage trainer. The upper is a light and breathable textile, reinforced by welded overlays and an engineered weave which is light in weight but durable. The Nitro foam is among the best current formulations, and has a well-cushioned and nicely responsive ride with its 36mm rearfoot stack and 10 mm drop, with stabilizing geometries which Puma has dubbed RunGuide. The outersole is dual-density rubber in the forefoot, a curvy ribbon to the heel without any excess, keeping the weight down and the grip up. The ForeverRun is a stable, protective, and durable shoe for your longest training miles.

“Stable, light, and tough, pretty much exactly what I was looking for.”
