Scott Kinabalu 2.0

The Kinabalu 2.0 is the second round of Scott’s proven trail shoe. Fans of the shoe will be relieved to know that the key ingredients remain intact. The upper is closed mesh with welded overlays, much like round one, though the forefoot over the towed breathes better, and the overall matrix of welded overlays have been replaced by fewer welds without affecting the fit. The midsole remains the same, Scott’s Aerofoam – the light and resilient EVA blend that cushions well while still being durable. The outersole also continues unchanged, aggressively lugged carbon rubber that offers great traction, managing roads with decent performance, though why would you take it off the trail? All in all the Kinabalu 2.0 is a great choice for trail running, especially if you have found the Scott fit to your liking.

Testers: “Snug heel with a good fit over the toes. A trail shoe that has great traction and protection. They feel light and lively whether on or off road.”
